POLICY

By booking with Sandra Du at Serendipitydu, the client understands and agrees to all Serendipitydu policies. Our policy is subject to change; such changes are immediately effective without notice. 

All client appointments are confirmed 5 days prior and reminded 24 hours before.

As there are chemicals used during the process of getting colour done, clients are advised to leave all valuables such as earrings, name brand purses and high end clothing at home. Serendipitydu is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged (such as stains) items during your visit. 

Arriving 15 minutes early is suggested for proper check in and preparation. Late arrivals can result in reduced service time. 

All appointments always include a proper consultation before starting the service. Consultations are important as this gives the client and stylist a moment to discuss the desired colour and proper steps to achieve this. Any questions by the stylist or client can be answered during this time. In most cases, the breakdown of cost is also discussed during this process.

Getting your hair done is a process. Please free up your day when you have an appointment as some services take hours to complete. Serendipitydu takes as much time needed to ensure the services are done to the best of my abilities. 

Serendipitydu reserves the right to refuse and cancel a client’s appointment if the client’s hair is too compromised. Serendipitydu may require clients to sign a waiver form that releases Sandra Du of Serendipitydu from any liabilities or damages to your hair during your appointment. 

Service guarantee & Refund

Here at Serendipitydu, I give my best efforts to make you happy and satisfied with the services provided. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your service, please notify me within 72 hours after your appointment. Any corrections within reason must be done 10 days within the initial service. There is a no refund policy due to the nature of the services provided. 

Cancellation

In the event where you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please advise me 48-24 hours in advance to avoid a penalty. A charge of 50% of the service is expected to be paid VIA e-transfer for any last minute cancellations or rescheduled appointments if notice is less than 24 hours. Allowing enough notice provides other clients an opportunity to take your appointment should you no longer be free to keep yours. When given less than 24 hours notice, it does not provide enough time to fill the spot thus losing out on business. Thank you for understanding and respecting this policy.

Please note: Gratuities (tips) are welcomed and are not included in the service price. I accept cash or e-transfer only for gratuities (tips).
