CUT & STYLE
CUT & STYLE:
Your hair gets shampooed, conditioned, blow dried and styled.
CUT, WASH & STYLE:
Your hair gets shampooed, conditioned, cut, blow dried and styled.
Updos:
For any formal events, like prom or weddings. It’s recommended to wash your hair at least one day prior from your appointment to ensure the style holds as much as possible for your special occasion! Updo trials are also offered if interested for an additional cost. Prices vary depending on the style/time it takes.
COLOUR
Please Note: Colour services do not include a Cut & Style service, those are considered an add on.
TONER:
Toners are used to neutralize any unwanted tones (like brassiness), keeping your hair looking healthy. This service is considered a refresher as you’d come in in between your lightening service (highlights/prelighten). Toners deposit colour without lightening the hair. Toners typically last around 6 to 8 weeks.
Balayage:
This technique is used if you prefer a more natural look. Your roots are untouched as your mids and ends are lightened; whether you want a more subtle or drastic colour for your mids/ends is up to you! Balayage is done by free-hand painting the hair which allows me to customize your look to your liking. Balayage is the best option for those who are more low maintenance with their hair. Balayage typically lasts around 4 and a half to 6 months before getting touched up again.
Full Head Highlights:
Highlights are done throughout your whole head. After getting a full head of highlights, I normally recommend alternating back and forth to a half head for your next appointment. Highlights are typically done around every 8 to 12 weeks.
Vivid Colour:
Vivids is if you want any pastel or colourful tones. Keep in mind, the only way to get these types of colours is by having prelightened hair. The lighter your hair is, the more options we have, and the better the outcome is for the majority of the vivid colours. These types of colours do not last forever as they do fade the more you wash your hair. Vivid colours are typically done every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on how fast it fades.
Root Colour:
Root colour touchups are done when you have roughly 2 and a half inches of regrowth. If your have no previous colour in your hair whatsoever, than that is considered a full colour, not a root colour. Root colour touchups are typically done every 8 to 12 weeks.
Balayage & Colour:
This is normally done if you want to get a balayage while also altering your natural hair in between.
Full Head Highlights & Colour:
This is normally done if you want to get highlights while also altering your natural hair in between.
Full Colour:
Full colours are for when you want to colour your whole head. After getting a full colour, a touchup is then considered a root colour for your next appointment
Partial Head Highlights:
If you only want a minor touch up done, this is for you. A partial is sectioned off around where your part line is.
Root Prelighten:
A Prelighten gives you that solid-shade-of-blonde look. There are no natural hairs whatsoever, everything is lightened. Touchups are done when you have roughly 2 and a half inches of regrowth. This is the most upkeep as you have to come in frequently to freshen up your roots to prevent banding. Root prelightens are normally done around every 8 to 12 weeks.
Shadow Root:
Also known as a root smudge. This technique is used to either add depth to your roots or soften your roots, giving it a natural looking transition between shades.
Half Head Highlights:
This for if you only want the top half of your head done. A half head is sectioned off from ear to ear. Half heads are typically done in between full head appointments.
Colour Correction:
This is when you want your hair fixed. If who’ve done a DIY job at home, or are unhappy with your results, or have grown out roots halfway down their head, that’s considered a colour correction. They can take all day and the process is usually unpredictable; hence why I charge per hour for this service. In the end though, it’s definitely the most satisfying to see the outcome of it all!
EXTENSIONS
For all extension services, I do not provide the actual hair extensions. You must decide on a supplier, order the hair and bring it in on the day of your appointment so that I can install them. I have experience installing a variety of different types of extensions which are clip ins, tape ins and fusions. I also offer custom extension colouring if the extensions you’re providing needs a touch up and/or doesn’t match your real hair before getting them installed!
TREATMENTS
Wella/Sebastian Hair Mask:
Whether you hair needs some more shine, or is feeling dry and brittle, a hair mask is always nice as an add on service! I offer a variety of different hair masks to fit your hair needs.
Wellaplex:
This product is used in all of my lightening services. Wellaplex is specially formulated in the lightener and has a step 2 treatment that works hand in hand with the lightener during your service. Wellaplex is used to reduce hair damage and creates bonds within the hair while getting your hair lightened. This keeps the integrity of your hair stay intact!
